Into another channel. This one natural, with a constant flow towards the ocean. Get back into your swim wear. Enjoy a 30 minute lazy river drift over 4,5km / 3 miles in shallow, safe waters. Life jackets mandatory! Photo of me as your trusted guide is in a life vest worn upside down. Looks completely silly and stupid, but best float experience just sitting in the water. We call it Diaper Drift Snorkeling! Enjoy!

Tour includes (minimum 2 persons) :

• Pick up from your hotel in a doggy, worn Dive Van. But it’s a Toyota. Works perfectly, and breaks and stuff are regularly inspected. (Cancun, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Aventura. )
• Akumal Beach Turtle Snorkel Experience. Go with a certified local guide to see Sea Turtles in their natural nesting environment. Off the local beach. 100m / 300ft seawards. Shallow and protected bay. Life Jackets. Suitable for non swimmers.
• Lunch in a local Taco place in Akumal. The best. Enjoy a good Guacamole with some tacos of your choice, and an ice cold beer!
• 45 minutes transfer to the Mayan village of Muyil. Just south of Tulum. The entrance point of the huge UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sian Ka’an National Park.
• 1,5 hour private boat trip into the park. Crossing a lagoon, into an artificial channel created by ancient Mayan to connect the lagoon with the ocean.
• Visit the Mayan Ruins of Muyil. Nice. Small. Rarely visited! But awesome. A secret so far!
• Transfer back to Cancun ( other locations on the way ) 2,5 hours
• Cancun: 7am - 8pm
• Puerto Morelos: 7:45 am - 7:15pm
• Playa del Carmen: 8:30am - 6:30pm
• Puerto Aventuras: 9am - 5:45pm
